It is absolutely essential that if you own telecommunications equipment other than that which you rent or purchased from Cable &Wireless, and it is connected to the Cable &Wireless network, you should verify the compliance status of the equipment with the manufacturer.

This should include any peripheral equipment that may be attached to Cable &Wireless equipment or may be running Cable &Wireless supplied software (for example PC ’s using Internet Starter packs).  Failure to do this may result in equipment not being able to function correctly and may affect your ability to receive Cable &Wireless communications services.

Please note that Cable &Wireless will not accept responsibility for the failure of any such customer owned equipment before, during or after the date change to the Year 2000.
